TAKSEER means "breaking" in Arabic, a fitting word that reflects our mission to shatter barriers and highlight diverse cultural expressions. Through sounds from the region, alongside global allies, we aim to bring forward broken beats and stories often unheard, creating a platform for unique perspectives to thrive. Since its launch in 2022, Takseer has successfully organized a series of club nights at Panke Culture that have captivated audiences with their unique curatory of music and cultural influences. From here, we have embraced a community and a fan base that have found a space to explore and experience a wide range of electronic music styles including, bass, grime, deconstructive club, hip hop and experimental among others.
