Artists for Cultural Freedom is a grassroots initiative pushing back on cultural and artistic suppression in Germany. Formed after a performance by Palestinian actor and performance artist Ahmed Tobasi was cancelled by the city of Leipzig in 2024, it has organised gatherings and events to bring awareness to the ongoing suppression of Palestinian voices. In November 2025, Artists for Cultural Freedom brought Tobasi's performance back to Leipzig, and staged it independantly to a full house.

They continue to promote and support artists whose voices are suppressed in Germany - be they Palestinian or otherwise.
