3 pm - 4 pm A Heritage Zine Drop-in Workshop
Relaxed, drop-in, zine-making workshop. Together we'll create a personal heritage zine that captures the people, places and traditions that have shaped who you are. As a keepsake, you'll also have the opportunity to make and take home a handmade friendship bracelet.
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm Dabke & Bullerengue Mash-up Dance Workshop
Join us for a joyful movement workshop that brings together two powerful traditions of collective dance and resistance: Dabke from the SWANA region and Bullerengue, an Afro-Colombian musical and dance tradition.
This interactive workshop invites participants to learn the rhythms, movements and stories that have travelled across generations.
6 pm - 7 pm Evening Performances
Join us for an evening of live music, dance and celebration.
