Berlin’s celebration of SWANA sound, community, and resistance returns in October 2026 for its 7th edition — and we can’t wait to welcome you back!

Unapologetically loud and joyfully present, AL.FESTIVAL is a gathering of resistance and celebration. In times when our existence is too often framed as a threat, we come together to dance, listen, remember, and imagine — carrying both the fire and the tenderness woven into our sound.

This year arrives with a fresh program and an unforgettable lineup of artists, alongside powerful collaborations — as every year — with some of Berlin’s most vital SWANA collectives. Expect live concerts, DJ sets, workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, talks, radio shows, and a vibrant designer, Soli, and a food bazaar, rooted in SWANA and Global Majority voices.
