Avi & Ahmed invite you to a very special musical gathering
In a beautiful new venue right by the Spree, carpets will be spread out, and everyone is invited to settle in — bring a blanket or a pillow to make yourself comfortable.
We will switch off the lights and leave only a few candles to dive into the music in soft darkness.
For this special evening, Avi & Ahmed return to their musical roots. With violin and double bass, they take the audience on a journey through more than sixteen years of shared creation and friendship. Melodies from traditional and contemporary music are woven together into an improvised flow.
The common thread through all these paths remains a deep trust – the trust to always find their way back together safely, even after adventurous improvisational journeys.
Like two opposing poles, the two resonate:
one radiating fiery energy on the double bass, the other moving with calm and flowing focus on the violin.
A musical dialogue shaped by joy found in surprises, by deep resonance and a rare sensitivity that lets them travel together from the quietest moments to wild rhythmical play

wir laden euch ein zu einem für uns ganz besonderen Konzert.
In einem wunderschönen neuen Space direkt an der Spree werden wir uns auf den ausgelegten Teppichen mit euren mitgebrachten Kissen und Decken niederlassen und dann die Augen schließen, um in die Dunkelheit zu lauschen.
Avi & Ahmed nehmen euch mit auf eine musikalische Reise durch inzwischen sechzehn Jahre gemeinsamen Schaffens.
Für dieses besondere Konzert besinnen sie sich auf ihre musikalischen Wurzeln:
Mit Geige und Kontrabass verweben sie Melodien aus traditioneller Musik und Einflüsse verschiedenster Stilrichtungen zu einem improvisierten Klangfluss.
Als gemeinsamer Nenner auf all diesen Wegen bleibt ein tiefes Vertrauen – das Vertrauen, auch bei abenteuerlichen improvisatorischen Ausflügen immer wieder sicher gemeinsam zu landen.
Wie zwei entgegengesetzte Pole erklingen die beiden:
Der eine versprüht am Kontrabass feurige Energie, der andere bewegt sich mit seiner Geige ruhig und fließend in tiefer Konzentration.
