ADIRA Drag Festival returns for its second edition from November 12th until the 14th this year with a three-day program of workshops, performances and DJ sets. ADIRA Drag Festival 2.0 explores queer Arab* futures through speculative visions of erased histories, reclaimed mythologies, and radical fantasies.
This year’s edition imagines a future of sovereignty, a world where borders don’t exist, legacy is redefined, astrology takes the place of authority, and pop divas honor the queers and girlies who shaped them.
In 2024, ADIRA made history by launching the world’s first Arab* Drag Festival, which welcomed more than 700 attendees and featured over 30 artists from Arabic-speaking regions and cities across Europe. This second edition builds on that legacy, continuing to carve out a space where queer Arab* imagination thrives.
