Berlin’s celebration of SWANA sound, community, and resistance is back this October for its 6th edition!
Unapologetically loud and boldly present, AL.FESTIVAL is a space of resistance and joy in a time when our existence is too often treated as a threat. We come together to disrupt, to be heard, and to carry both the rage and calm woven into our sound.
This year brings a new logo, a fresh program, and an unforgettable lineup of artists — alongside powerful collaborations with some of Berlin’s most vital SWANA collectives. Expect live shows, DJ sets, workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, talks, radio shows, and a vibrant food bazaar serving flavours that taste like home.

About Organizer
AL.Berlin, founded in 2019, is a vibrant Berlin-based hub for contemporary music and art dedicated to building community through live music experiences. Focused on connecting people to the South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA) region and the Global Majority, AL.Berlin, represented by the name AL (آل), meaning "the" and "family" in Arabic, creates inclusive spaces that challenge traditional ideas of assimilation and integration. Its flagship event, AL.FESTIVAL (funded by MusicBoard Berlin and Initiative Musik) has grown into Berlin’s premier SWANA music festival, attracting diverse audiences and expanding its reach with film screenings, workshops and political knowledge seminars.
