AL.Berlin presents
Bu Kolthoum Live in Berlin w/ Khtek || Julmud || @festsaalkreuzberg
📅 June 08, 2025
We’re thrilled to welcome Bu Kolthoum back to Berlin after two years away, bringing with him a brand-new live set full of electricity and intention.
This time, he’s digging into the archives—reworking beloved tracks, infusing them with new energy, and weaving in glimpses of what’s to come. We can't wait to see Bu’s signature sharp critical lyricism come together with immersive live visuals.
Joining him on stage are two independent artists making a mark in their unique ways.
Morrocon songwriter/rapper/filmmaker Khtek, a.k.a Houda, focuses on showcasing her North African heritage. Her tracks laced with instruments native to North Africa like the Bendir, Nai, & the Rebab. Coming off the release of her new track "Dmess" (check it out) which experiments with UK two-step & Amazigh samples from the Atlas region, Khtek is touring once again. Her next stop - Berlin.
Julmud, the Ramallah-based producer and sound artist, takes the stage with his genre-defying sound. Known for his intricate sonic collages and collaborations with artists like Al Nather, Muqata’a, and Makimakkuk, Julmud draws from samples around his house & neighbourhood to build deep, immersive soundscapes. His critically acclaimed debut album Tuqoos (Bilna’es, 2022) set the tone—and he’s only just getting started.
Venue: Festsaal Kreuzberg || Am Flutgraben 2, 12435 Berlin
Doors: 20:00
Join us for a night of crazy sonic frequencies - We’ll see you there? :)
