Bledi is back for a day party on the 30th of August, before bank holiday Monday! We will be hosting a sickening line up of QTIBPOC DJs at Queer and Palestinian-owned cafe, Corner (in New Cross, South East London). We're so honoured to be joined by Falamafel (@queerfalafel) all the way from Berlin! More lineup announcements coming soon...
Enjoy our refreshing Bledi Iced Teas and cocktails, get your henna done, all while snacking on delicious freshly made Levant-inspired food and listening to jams from across the SWANA region 💖
There will be photographers at the event taking consented footage and photographs, but consent can be withdrawn at any time for any images/videos on the Bledi social media (just send us a DM or email).
Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Space, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa – commonly referred to as ‘the Middle East’). Bledi (Arabic for ‘My Homeland’) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.
