Uncivilized Civilized Club

On 31 January, نادي الغير المتحضرين المتحضر / Uncivilized Civilized Club briefly interrupts normal functioning at Panke Culture, Berlin.

Comfort is not part of the program. Clarity is optional.

The night assembles live performances by artists operating across different collectives, scenes, and occasional misunderstandings.

The lineup is intentionally uneven: collaborations formed for the evening, affiliations temporarily suspended.

This is not an attempt to fix the underground, but a modest and possibly ineffective gesture against its obsession with cliques and, in a more ambitious moment, against our sectarian habits we keep pretending are purely historical.

Those expecting schedules, clean genre lines, or strategic networking may find this environment inefficient. Others may recognise it as functional.

There will be food. Thoughtful, spectacular, resistant to explanation and most importantly hot because we’re not trying to freeze everyone to death.

A necessary reminder, stated plainly:

No violence. No harassment. No hatred.

“Uncivilized” is not a misunderstanding of consent, boundaries, or responsibility.

We are not here to be correct, enlightened, or impressive. We gather to move, to listen, and to remain present with one another for several hours without causing damage.

Uncivilized. Civilized.

31 January. Panke.

Participation is optional. Respect is not.

About Organizer

Uncivilized Civilized Club is a multidisciplinary collective and club concept rooted in sound, image, performance, and ritual. It draws from everyday excess: noise, flavour, contradiction and rejects polished minimalism in favour of instinct, density, and lived culture. What’s often dismissed as ordinary or uncivilized is treated here as source material. Not reclaimed, but used. More practice than statement, the club exists as a recurring rhythm: gatherings, productions, and shared habits shaped by people who grew up where nothing matched and everything mattered. Uncivilized Civilized Club is not a reaction or a trend, it’s a space where too much is simply enough.
